Nano Tanks / Anyone Still Using 'Cubes
« on: March 03, 2014, 09:43:00 PM »
Hey out there! Was wondering if anyone is still running cubes and how they are  doing?  I currently have 4 Oceanic Bio-cubes up and running.  All are reef and in different states of light and filtration. One is a 14 and the others are 29's.   Also was wondering about feed back of the does and donts with cubes. Well....any info would be appreciated.

Regular Meetings / March Frag Get Together
« on: March 01, 2014, 08:10:56 PM »
Hey....this is just a shout to see who might be interested in a get together.  I was thinking of people bringing a frag(yes...just 1, and not something common!)  What i was thinking is, depending on who comes and who brings a frag...number each frag and have a drawing. If you draw your own, trade it with someone else or something like that.  I figure that would perk up some interest and get the club together and meet some new faces.  Well can reply to this post or txt me at 5eight five 7o5 threethree 9eight!  Hope to hear from you soon.  Oh yeah...we can do it at my appt,  i live in Ladson. I have 4 reef bio-cubes up and running.  I am also interested in private trades !!!!!

hi, nice corals.  The bottom one is Kenya tree leather. great starter, but take care to keep it isolated as it tends to want to attach to anything. It also is a very quick growing coral.  Good Luck !

i agree... i like to use the 1 fish to 5 gallons of water for fish up to 4" full grown.  It seems to keep things peaceful.

Regular Meetings / Re: October Meeting
« on: October 27, 2013, 07:12:03 PM » too.  Thanks for the acros.  Im sure they will color up nice once they acclimate a little long under the HQi's.  Would have been nice to see a few more people but we will try again next month so try and plan for the weekend before thanks giving.  Also a good idea would be to start listing what each of us has so as to only bring what others might not have.  That would cause less stress on the corals.  I also have an idea about that at the next gathering.  Hope to see more interested people next time.

If you have one you will probably have more!  The problem it bad or good ?  I am not willing to take that chance.  I use Coral Rx for all my frags, and it seems to work well.  Most all good fish stores should carry it.  I know tideline does.  Good luck !!!

I had the same thing in my tank just last night!  It is some kind of snail but not sure if it is reef friendly or not, so it plucked it and flushed it !
