some shots of My Escape

hi everyone. these are some shots of my huge 30g tank. i've never had professional photography training, so please let me know what im doing wrong.
camera used was a point-and-shoot Canon SD800

The reef is about 2 years old now.

First of all, :welcome: to the board, we are always glad to see new people post and add to the forums.

Both your aquarium and photography skills are fine in my book.  You have a very nice looking tank.  It would be interesting if you could give some equipment specs and a livestock list of what all you are keeping.

General Tank Specs:
150w MH HQI DE Radium 20k running on Hamilton set-up: 8 hrs
30g Display
20g sump
Red Sea Prizm Pro skimmer
mama's filter socks
fuge: dragon's tongue? and chaeto with 19w TCP: 12 hrs opposite of MH
8w Gamma UV sterilizer
2 tea sun jar auto-top-offs
75w heater, 1 computer fan inside canopy
(all this stuffed inside canopy or stand)
custom-made stand and canopy: features a high, eye-level view because i was annoyed of short OEM stands >_<
(wood from hd)
more tank specs to come gradually....



maintenance:
2 part bi-onic dosage
10% water change weekly
refill auto-top-off now and then
rotate mama's filter socks (new ones still for sale)
feed frozen mix and coral frenzy alternate nights
feed organic nori for the tangs

water parameters?
i have no idea!

What do the tang police do?

they intrude your house, arrest the tangs because they have a warrant for them.
lol i dont know either, but more seriously, it's to encourage you to have tangs in a bigger tank.

Lol. I've heard stories of them running folks off for having tangs in smaller than 40G.  Freaking yahoos, I say. I mean urs looks healthy and happy. These r the same folks that threw a fit about my pair of baby osc. Clowns and a baby ywg in a 10G

There is really nothing that they can do except make rude posts concerning keeping tangs tanks that in their opinion are not big enough.  They are mainly a nuisance and I can say that we don't really have them on here.  They are kinda fun to joke about occasionally but we don't stand for their kind of harassment here.
